ReplyDeleteA detractor recently said on her blog "I can't believe she's anybody's grandmother" (or words to that effect), meaning a crazed harridan like me couldn't possibly be loving or have any good qualities. She had a legitimate grievance, but I wonder why she needed to insert the blade into such a sensitive spot. I keep making the mistake of thinking no one reads this and I just do it for my own amusement. But I try to see it this way: if I got under her skin that much, I must have way more power than I ever realized (or wanted).
