Margaret Gunning: Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada; Welcome to Margaret Gunning's blog: a tribute to the strangeness of the ordinary. Ms.Gunning is the author of The Glass Character (Thistledown Press), her paean/tribute to the brilliant silent screen comic Harold Lloyd. Researching and writing this novel celebrating Harold's legacy and legend was by far the most compelling (and fun!) experience in her long and varied writer's life. Her previous novels, Better than Life (NeWestPress) and Mallory (Turnstone Press) explore her lifelong fascination with family secrets, alienation, and the surprising joys of the ordinary.
