Researching and writing this novel celebrating Harold's legacy and legend was by far the most compelling (and fun!) experience in her long and varied writer's life. Her previous novels, Better than Life (NeWestPress) and Mallory (Turnstone Press) explore her lifelong fascination with family secrets, alienation, and the surprising joys of the ordinary.
